Mound Westonka Hockey Families!

Need a way to reconnect with your favorite hockey families this summer? Looking to fulfill your volunteer hours before the season even starts? Want to have fun with other hockey loving friends whether you like golf or not? ;) Live music, good food, a silent auction, drinks and friends on a Friday in the summer while you “could” be working?! YES!

The Mound Westonka Golf Scramble is  Friday, August 16th at Timber Creek Golf Course in Watertown, and will raise vital funds for Mound Westonka Youth Hockey and Boys High School Hockey.  This event provides the monetary injection needed to help kids who may not be able to afford to play this great game. This tournament is our way of providing the opportunities for more children through the game of hockey to learn valuable life lessons.  Also, we would like to continue to support youth players who continue at the high school level as they carry on the EXCELLENT TRADITION of Mound Westonka Hockey.
Here are the ways you can support this event!

1 - Find four of your favorite family members, friends or coworkers and register your team of five!  Don’t have a team of 5? You can register solo and we’ll help put you on a team! Event registration is liveat https://www.eventbee.com/v/westonkahockeygolfscramble#/tickets

2 - Invite your friends to the Facebook Event to register, sponsor a hole or donate items for the Silent Auction.  Monetary donations accepted as well!

3 - Volunteer on the day of the event!  What a great way to get some of your 2019-20 volunteer hours completed before the season even starts.  Join the volunteer team and have just as much fun working as you would golfing! Sign up to volunteer here- All hours completed will be applied in DIBS once the season starts.

Let’s make this a successful event and have tons of fun while raising money for our hockey players! Please let Sara Reinholdz or Megan Cegla know if you have any questions on how to get involved.  We look forward to seeing you on the course!
