MWHA STP Boys and Girls 2026

Westonka's Summer Hockey Training Program introduces some new aspects in 2026. It's led once again by Charlie Curti, with help from Cooper Curti, Hank Nagel, Alex Doshan and numerous boys and girls high school hockey players. The curriculum for our Squirt/U10, Peewee/U12, and Bantam groups will include a more comprehensive approach to hockey training, providing off-ice "dryland" training and weekly hockey class. The kids will be introduced to off-ice plyometric and mobility exercises, as well as tools to develop their skills at home. Dryland training sessions will take place prior to each group's ice times on Mondays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays, the groups will take part in hockey class prior to their skates, where various hockey concepts will be introduced and discussed. The overall aim of the program is first and foremost to cultivate a fun atmosphere to fuel each player's passion for the game. On top of that, our aim is to improve each player's skating, skills, hockey IQ, and equip each participant with tools to develop their skills and athleticism not only at the rink, but at home as well.

Reminder: Register for the level your skater will be next season (2026-2027)

If that is the case, STP chaperones will escort players to and from the Hilltop Parking Lot.
