Try Hockey for Free

**NEW DATE** FRIDAY AUGUST 28TH, 5:30-6:30PM

Mound Westonka Hockey Association is hosting a Try Hockey for Free Event on Friday, August 28th, 5:30-6:30pm.

Mound Westonka Hockey Association invites Mound, Minnetrista, Watertown, and surrounding area boys and girls, ages 4 to 9, to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics in a fun, safe environment, for FREE! No previous skating or hockey experience is required. RSVP BELOW!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

There is no cost. This event is totally free.

What do I need to bring?

At a minimum, bring skates.

If you have any other hockey protective equipment and/or a hockey stick, please bring to the event.

We do have free equipment for use, but we have a limited amount.

Visit our mite equipment page below to see the equipment requirements.

What will the kids be doing?

Kids will have the opportunity to try on gear, skate with full equipment, and play with a stick and puck on the ice. It will be unstructured, with some volunteers on the ice to help and ensure the kids have fun.

Can parents go on the ice?

Yes. You can skate with your child. However, since there will be sticks and pucks on the ice, a helmet is required for everyone on the ice.
